You Are In Good Company
Join other midlife women just like you who are (re)writing their running stories!
"Lisa is an awesome running (and walking) coach! This photo is after my first trail race, which was also my first double down race, because I ran my first night time trail race the night before. That was just the beginning! Who would have believed that I would start running ultras at my age? Uh, you! You helped me realize my potential, and I am forever grateful!"
When I interact with the TRU Tribe, I ALWAYS feel like I'm "part of". I've run with other groups and often feel "less than", older and slower, like I don't belong. But I NEVER feel this way with the women in the TRU Tribe! Lisa's group is a community of like-minded women who speak my language and support my journey.
When Lisa says she’s your biggest cheerleader, she means it! Her enthusiasm for helping women over 50 (and younger) reach their running and fitness goals is contagious. At 61, I never even considered trail running as an option for me. Thanks to her and the TRU Tribe community, I’m finding the confidence to explore a new side of running that I love.
I want to personally thank you for not only being such a great coach but also an awesome person and friend as well! Your dedication to your athletes is appreciated, from training plans, encouragement, and mindfulness...Thank you so much for believing in me. I never would have thought I could do 100 kilometers before you & the Tribe came along!

Coach Lisa handed me a cup of purple koolaid and I was hooked. She inspires me and other women to find their greatness and has created a team of fantastic, strong, supportive women on her TRU Tribe. Earlier this year I finished my first ultramarathon. Now I’m training for my second!
